අද අපි මේ එකෙන් කතාකරනේ සම්මත/standards ගැන.එකෙන් ලකුණු 7 ක් ලේසියෙන් ලබාගන්න පුළුවන් ප්‍රශ්නයක් තමයි වලින් අපිට ලැබෙන්නේ .

මොනවද ? මේ standards ,අපි දැනගත යුතුstandards 8ක් තියනවා,මේ 8න් අපිටඉතාමත් වැදගත් වෙන්නේ 5යි.මේ 5 කටපාඩමේ තියාගත්තත් පාඩුවක් වෙන්නේ නැ.
නමුත් එකේ මේ 8ටම ඉගෙන ගන්න කියල තමි තියෙන්නේ.

Active standards

Is a constantly operational where amendments could be applied if necessary.

නිරන්තරයෙන් ක්‍රියාවලින්ට යොදා ගැනීමට අවශ්‍ය සංශෝදන ඉදිරිපත් කිරීම මෙම සම්මතය මගින් සිදු කරනවා,

Reactive standards

Only responds to problem when stimulated, typically by a user request.

මෙය මගින් බාවිතා කරන්නාගේ ගැටළු වලට ඉල්ලීම පරිදි එම ගැටළු වලට ප්‍රතිචාර දැක්වීමට පොලබවන ආකාරයේ සම්මතයකි.

De-facto standards

It is formal standard; it has evolved without any formal plan

විදිමත් සම්මතයක් වන මෙය විදිමත් සැලැස්මක් නොමැතිව උවද සකස්කරගන්න සම්මතයකි .

De-jure standards

It is formal, adopted legally by an authorized standards body

මෙයද විදිමත් සම්මතයකි ,එක හදාගත් බලයලත් නිත්‍යානුකුල සම්මතයකි .

Voluntary standards

Standards with which there is no obligations to comply either legally or informally.

බැදීමකින් තොරව නිත්‍යානුකුල හෝ අවිදිමත් උවත් එයට අනුකුලව සම්මත කරගත් සම්මතයකි .

Role :develop standards for TELECOMMUNICATION & DATA NETWORKS

ISO – International Standardization Organization.

Role : develop standard for DATA COMMUNICATION.

ITU- International Telecommunication Union.

Role: develop standards for TELECOMMUNICATION.

ETSI-European Telecommunication Standards Institute.

Role: produce globally applicable standards for information & communication technologies including fixed,mobile,radio,broadcast,internet,aeronautical and other areas.

ANSI-American National Standards Insitute.

Role: develop standards for products ,services ,processes ,system and personnel in the USA.

Request For Comment (RFC)

In computer network engineering, a request for comment is a document published by the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) describing methods behaviors, research or innovations applicable to the internet & internet-connected systems.

යනු ඉලේචට්‍රොනික ලියවිලකි .මගින් ඉදරිපත් කරන මෙය මගින් අලුත් සංකල්පයන්,නව සොයාගැනීම්
අදාල නිෂ්පාදන තත්වවල ගැටළු,එය ප්‍රවර්දනය කිරීමට අදාල තොරතුරු ආදිය ඒ ඒ විෂයන්ට අදාල විශ්ශ්න්ච්නයන්ට අදාල නිෂ්පාදන බාවිතා කරන්නන්ගෙන් ලබා ගැනීමට ඇති වැඩසටහනකි.ඔබ අසා ඇති forum පිලිබදව අන්තර්ජාලය තුල වෙබ් අඩවි මගින් නිෂ්පදා වල තත්වයන්,නිෂ්පාදන වල ගැටළු අදාල තොරතුරු ලබා ගැනීම මෙම forum මගින් සිදු කර අදාල නිෂ්පාදන,නව සොයාගැනීම් අඩියේ තත්වයන් නගා සිටුවීමට එම තොරතුරු යොදා ගැනීම සිදු කරයි .

Use of RFC in developing standards,

· RFC become an open environment to comment on any standard that has to be developed or being developed.

· It is useful to get the ideas of the professional and the equipment manufactures on the standard.

· On the other hand it gives a hint to the industries about the possible changes of the existing standards.

LOCAL LOOP UNBUNDLING.

LLU allows multiple vendors to use the local loop,so that customers can choose the vendor without changing the access connection.itwill increase the quality of the service with low price

l local loop unbundaling කියන්නේ හරියට එක network එකක් customer access කරන්න තියෙනnetwork එක වෙනස් නොකර විවිද service providers මගින් service එක ලබා ගැනීම වගේ වැඩක්.උදාහරණයක් ගත්තම ,sri lanka telecom ශ්‍රිලංකාවේ national backbone network එක අරගෙනexchange ඉදන් dp යටත් ඉන්පසු ගෙදරටත් network path(osp) එක හදලා exchange එක විවිද service provides ලබා දෙනවා customer ගේ අවශ්‍යතාවයට.
