Explain how routers use link-state routing protocols to communicate
network information to each other?
•Link
state algorithm use link state database at each router to calculate best path
using SPF algorithm,
•Router
send “HELLO” message to his neighbor routers. According to hello replies from
neighbors build own neighbor table at each router.
•Using
flooding method distribute own neighbor table to each router.
•Using
neighbor tables each router build up link state data base which describe full
network topology.
•Using
shortest path first algorithm each router calculate best path and buildup
routing table.
